UMIS, the Universal Mapping Index System, provides a set of tools to identify your location or a selected location by:
- United States National Grid (USNG)
- Military Grid Reference System (MGRS)
- Coordinate pairs in decimal as well as degrees, minutes and seconds
Distance and between current location and selected location is provided in Metric and US/Imperial. The display also shows bearing to the selected location. The sharing feature provides multiple formats of location representation for a variety of uses for the current location and selected location.
